The short version: CiteWard is an educational and decision-support tool, not a doctor. It does not replace clinical judgment or professional care. Use it responsibly, don't abuse it, and the medical disclaimer applies to everything it produces.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CiteWard you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What CiteWard is — and isn't

CiteWard provides AI-assisted medical education and clinical decision support. It is not a medical provider, does not establish a doctor–patient relationship, and does not provide a diagnosis or treatment for any individual. See the full Medical Disclaimer. Always apply professional clinical judgment and verify against primary sources.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 16 or older. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use CiteWard to provide unsupervised patient care or as a sole basis for clinical decisions.
• Do not enter directly identifying patient information.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to generate harmful content.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service (store, process, and display it back to you). You are responsible for the content you input.

6. Plans & payment

Some features may require a paid plan. Pricing and inclusions are described on the pricing page. Where applicable, fees, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented at checkout.

7. Intellectual property

CiteWard, its branding, and software are owned by us. Cited third-party content (e.g. guideline text, abstracts) remains the property of its respective owners and is surfaced for educational reference.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any clinical decision, injury, or damages arising from use of the service. The Medical Disclaimer is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using CiteWard at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service.
